Small Group 1 - Girls

Agree on a place to meet with your Small Group (it can be outside, in your accomodation or in the Dining Hall) to pray together and work through the SEVEN Bible study in your magazines with your Small Group Leader. The boys will be in Mainhall during this time.

SEVEN - Boys (Mainhall)

This is our special session just for boys. The girls will be in their Small Groups in the meantime, so we can talk from heart to heart in Mainhall!

Shhh Time

It is your 30 min of the day to do anything, but quietly. Be inspired by what other Teens recommend doing during this time:

“I like just being totally alone and asking the Lord what He wanted me to hear from Him that day and then reading a passage from the Bible and meditating”

“Grab your headphones, Bible, go a few steps away from the others, and just start talking to Jesus about what’s on your mind.”

“I went through the “magazine” and wrote a little bit what I think is most important.”

“Praying or listening to worship.”

“Sleeping.”

“Reflecting on mainhall and spend quality time with God.”

As soon as you hear the TeenStreet 2024 theme song through the speakers on site  Shhh Time is over.

Meet with your Small Group in the accommodation to reflect on the day, answer some questions, pray together and wind down before going to bed.

Quiet

This is the time for lights out and you are asked to be quiet, so that everyone can catch some sleep. Please keep in mind, that the first alarms may only go off at 06:30 in the morning, so everybody can find enough rest.

Country Focus: Turkey

Although conversion from Islam to Christianity is not legally forbidden, anyone who is not a Muslim, or who converts to a different faith, is seen as a disloyal Turk. Christians are viewed as a negative Western influence, and those who choose to follow Jesus—whether from Islam or secularism—can face pressure from their families and communities to renounce their faith.

Prayer points:

  • Pray that Christians will be seen as valued members of Turkish society, rather than a threat.
  • Pray that believers will be given boldness, wisdom and protection as they follow Jesus in an increasingly hostile society.
  • Ask that believers will not grow disheartened by the rising challenges facing them.
